L. & S. | Seattle Downtown Couple Photoshoot
This shoot was planned for this lovely couple's 15th wedding anniversary. Over the years, they have participated in many photo sessions and tried many looks. So on this day, they just wanted to have fun and enjoy the experience.
We chose Seattle Downtown as the location, with a theme of spontaneity. It was as if the couple had just woken up and decided to go for a walk without getting out of their blankets.
At first, the husband was skeptical and uptight, but he soon got so into it that he didn't want to stop. He realized that I wasn’t going to put him in silly poses and that he could just goof off and do whatever he wanted.
When they received the photos, the wife wrote to me saying it was their best shoot together. She mentioned that her husband never smiled in their couple photos and usually looked stiff, but in these pictures, he showed sincere emotions.
The fun part was that we had so many people around us while we were shooting, even drivers stopped to see what was going on!
We started at Pike Place Market and then continued on the waterfront, where they enjoyed tea and cake with a view of the bay.

Yes, I’ll be pretty much invisible during the elopement, but as with any intimate event, the elopement goes better when you are surrounded by people you trust. I’ll try to become that kind of person for your couple. I’ll help you to spend this day in a relaxed atmosphere. I'll be your rock, your shoulder to lean on.
Finally, when we discuss all the details, and you choose everything from location and date to clothes and champagne, I’ll get my camera. At that moment, my purpose will be to capture your real feelings and emotions. I’m not going to tell you what to do and how to pose. Our common goal is to save these brilliant moments of your love story, not to do posed photography.
