My fiancé and I hired Valerie and her husband Pasha to take our engagement photos and we couldn't be happier! Valerie helped us the whole way starting with picking out outfits and finding an amazing spot right next to the Columbia River.
When we arrived to the spot where we were shooting, she took a moment to get the two of us together and get us in a relaxed state where we were focused on nothing but each other the whole time. Pasha was so great assisting us as well and keeping the vibes high with some good music. It was really a treat to work and share such a special moment with an easy going and kind couple like Valerie and Pasha.
Now we've gotten the pictures back and are thrilled to have such a stunning set of photos that have captured our love in a way we can look back and cherish for a lifetime!

Even in 2023- as a LGBTQ couple, it was a little worrisome finding a photographer that would be willing to work with us for our Elopement. Thankfully we found Val and Pasha and immediately felt at ease. They both went above and beyond what we could have asked for leading up to/ and our big day. We both are so grateful to Val and Pasha for all of their support and of course for our gorgeous Wedding photos. If you are looking for a photographer Valerie is the best choice! You will not be disappointed!

destination Elopement in mexico
Valerie is the best photographer we’ve ever had a photoshoot with. We really wanted to have someone capture how we eloped. We are truly happy that one of our best friends recommended Valerie as a wedding photographer.
She guided us through the whole process without being imposing, keeping us comfortable to be ourselves.
She asked what our ideal theme for a wedding is and based on that helped us find a dress and location.
During our photoshoot, we never felt that we must follow a set of predetermined poses. It was quite the opposite; we organically enjoyed each other's company while Valerie lead us through the evening. She gave us little tips on where to go and what memories we could share to aid the flow of conversation. Valerie seemed to be focused on escalating our emotions to the fullest; we went on a memory trip to remember how we met each other, and how our first kiss felt. We remembered how we first said I love you and many other precious moments. She was full of compliments for us and it felt that we were all enjoying the process. We shed tears of happiness and gratitude for this magic day.
After the wedding day, Valerie always kept us updated and sent us photos faster than we expected. The pictures turned out unbelievably stunning, they captured the day even better than we remembered it in real life. We can't express enough how good the photoshoot went - Valerie is amazing. We will definitely have many other photoshoots with her.

Valerie is amazing!! She really knows how to bring out the most natural facial expressions and capture them with her camera! My biggest challenge prior to taking the couple photos was - both me and my fiance are not good at posing for photos, we get super stiff in front of cameras.
The way she guided us throughout the entire photo session made me think deeper and more appreciative of our relationship, and process of photo taking was super fun and enjoyable. I am really amazed how the photos turn out! Thank you Valerie!!

Words can’t describe the awesome job Valerie and Pasha did! Not only did they save our elopement by being able to accommodate us on such short notice but the way everything turned out was better than we could have imagined.
Our big day was like a dream! They made us feel very comfortable and the pictures they took of us are perfect! If you’re looking for a great photographer and people in general then look no further. Valerie and Pasha are amazing!
