Frequently Asked Questions

Because I know how important all the information is

I know reaching out to a photographer is a big step, so I always want to be upfront and share as much information as possible. Here are some of the most common questions I get from couples. If your question is not listed here, please let me know.

How do we book you?

Please take a look at my Portfolio and read about My approach and Pricing. If you find them agreeable, please fill out The contact form.

Once you complete the form, I’ll get in touch with you within 72 business hours. We’ll schedule a free consultation call and choose the right package. I'll answer all of your questions and help you choose the most suitable package for your needs.

The next step is to sign the contract and pay a 50% non-refundable reservation retainer to reserve (or secure) your date. The second payment will be due one month before the event.

How long does the post-editing take?

My turnaround time is 48 hours for a sneak peek of engagement or couples sessions, and one week for a sneak peek of elopement sessions. The whole gallery will be completed in three weeks for couple sessions, and in ten weeks for elopements. In most cases, couples receive all their photos sooner.

Rather than rushing and giving you something "raw," I think it's better to spend more time editing and making the photos perfect. Ultimately, the memories captured in these photographs will allow you to cherish this day for many years to come.

I don't outsource photo editing. I retouch each photo personally and give myself fully to this process, which is why I spend a lot of time processing. The end result will be well worth it!

What rights do we have?

You’ll get personal printing rights. This means that the photos can be used for any personal purpose, including printing or posting them online.

Will you help us to plan the day?

Yes. I’ll create a custom timeline based on your preferences and my recommendations. I’ll suggest the right vendors.

Can we bring our dog?

I love hearing this question! Yes, you can! Bring your dog, cat, or even a guinea pig! It's much easier to take good photos when you're happy. Remember to check whether the location you've chosen allows pets.

Where are you based?

I’m located in Seattle, Washington. The location is ideal for adventure elopements or couple sessions in the PNW.

What are your rates?

I appreciate your time, so all prices are publicly available. You can find them on the Pricing page. For more information, please complete the contact form, and I’ll send you my full pricing guide.

How many hours should we book for elopement, engagement, or couple session?

To answer this question, I need to know more information about your idea for the day. In our consultation call, you can tell me more about your idea of the ideal elopement, engagement, or couple session. Once you decide what you want to do, I can estimate how much time we'll need. The most popular package is 8–12 hours.

Do you use Photoshop?

Yes, I do, but not to turn people into something they are not. My work is about loving others and loving oneself. My approach is based on the idea that all people are beautiful. I believe in this because I see this through my camera. I like to capture people as they’re, not as fashion dictates them to be. Photoshop merely helps to erase temporary imperfections like bruises, pimples, and scratches.

Will you help us to find a location?

Yes, of course! My work includes this. I regularly scout locations for beautiful and unique places. I’m looking forward to sharing the locations I’ve already discovered.

Can we bring family or friends to our elopement?

Of course! You can bring up to 25 people. However, it's important to be sure that you really want to spend this day with others, and not invite them out of pressure.

Do we have to hike?

There's no need to do anything you don't want on your elopement day! Together, we'll pick activities that you enjoy, whether it's horseback riding, motorcycling, flying a helicopter or seaplane, hiking, kayaking or whatever else you want to do. It depends on how adventurous you feel. You can count on me to capture any activity you choose.

What if we want to hire you, but we’re not necessarily having an elopement?

That's fine; let's chat and make sure we're a good fit for each other.

How early in advance should I book?

It really depends. Some couples book me 6–10 months before the date. Others choose a photographer just a few weeks before the event. The date you choose is more likely to be available if you book me sooner rather than later. Remember that July to October is high season, which is the best time for hiking and many other activities. So it’s better to book earlier.

How many photos will we get?

It depends.

I usually guarantee my clients 40 fully edited photos per hour of an elopement session. I’m sure that quality is more important than quantity. Unfortunately, since every elopement shoot is unique, I can’t guarantee a specific number of photos.

Couple sessions typically result in 40-100 fully edited images (based on the package you chose). I usually provide more images than I guarantee.

Can we get RAW photos?

No, I don't provide RAW photos. The work I do consists of two parts: capturing perfect images and editing them. Therefore, I can’t provide RAW photos since they are only semi-finished. All my clients only get fully edited photos.

How do we receive our photos?

When your photos are ready, I’ll upload them to a password-protected online gallery and send you a link via email. You can view and download them as many times as you wish.

What happens if it rains?

With no rain, there is no rainbow. We'll celebrate this special day with you, rain or shine. We’ll smile and dance with fancy umbrellas. And we’ll take lots of amazing photos. In case of dangerous weather conditions that prevent the Photographer, Clients, and Clients’ agents from safely entering a remote location, such as, but not limited to, avalanches, mudslides, rockslides, wildfires, hurricanes, monsoons, tornadoes, etc., I'll handle rescheduling on a case-by-case basis.

Do you travel for elopements, engagements, or couple sessions?

Yes, there is no location that is too far for me! I’d be happy to meet you anywhere in the world.
